The Mooer MEP-FS Free Step combines vintage analog wah and a highly flexible volume control into one compact, durable, and comfortable expression pedal.

Modes and Controls:

W (Wah Mode): This mode activates only the wah effect. You can operate the wah using two methods, selectable with the SENSOR/SWITCH control:
- Touch Activation: Use Mooer’s innovative foot-sensing circuit to engage the wah effect with the touch of your foot.
- Toe Down Operation: Use the traditional “toe down” method to engage the wah effect, allowing you to leave it cocked in any position for a filter effect. The Q Range dial on the side of the pedal allows you to adjust the wah tone to your preference.
VOL (Volume Mode): In this mode, the Free Step functions as a standard volume pedal. Heel down represents the minimum volume, and toe down represents the maximum volume. The minimum volume can be adjusted between 0% and 50% using the MIN VOL dial on the side of the pedal.
W&V (Wah and Volume Mode): By default, this mode operates as a volume pedal. To activate or deactivate the wah effect, use the methods described in the Wah mode. The SENSOR/SWITCH control is active in this mode. When in Volume mode, the LEDs illuminate blue. When in Wah mode, the LEDs illuminate red.
