Mooer has recently announced three new versions of its popular and compact Hornet series amplifier lineup. These new versions retain their 15 watts of power, with each offering different amp models to choose from. Each amp in the Hornet series features two control modes: LIVE (for real-time adjustments) and PRESET (for storing presets). The 9 amp simulations include adjustable gain, a three-band EQ, and individual volume controls, with delay and reverb modules that can be independently controlled in real-time using T-Tempo. Additionally, the Hornet series includes a built-in high-sensitivity tuner, Bluetooth playback with adjustable volume levels, and a headphone output jack for silent practice.
The Hornet mini digital modeling amplifier is based on Mooer MNRS (Mooer Non-line Response Sample) technology, providing high-quality sound and functional integration. - Hornet Pink: A fashionable throwback with both modern high gain and classic clean tones. Includes four amp channels based on Fender Deluxe 65, Vox 30, Two Rock Cor, and Mesa Boogie Mk V (Clean and Distortion channels included).
- Hornet Green: Focuses on classic and retro tones with plenty of overdrive. Ideal for fans of Marshall and Orange.
- Hornet Blue: Offers bluesy tones with 6 amp models, overdrive, and distortion, plus 3 special synthesizer tones for experimentation. Includes a 5150 channel.
- Hornet Black: Designed for high gain, metal, and hard rock players.
- Hornet White: A small desktop-style amplifier with a fresh design and intuitive controls. Includes 9 amp modes suitable for guitar, bass, or acoustic guitar.
With the selector switch on the front of the amplifier, you can choose from nine meticulously recreated classic amp models spanning various music genres. The Hornet features master volume, gain, and three-band tone controls, modulation and delay effects with independent tap tempo, reverb, an in-built tuner, headphone output, X IN, Bluetooth connectivity, and preset storage. It can be powered with the supplied 18V adapter or the Mooer Power Bank S10 rechargeable battery for portable use.
Just as its name suggests, the Hornet is small but powerful.
