include, full administration and co-ordination of an
Instrumental Music Program that operates efficiently and
productively without the usual problems and anxieties
schools face when attempting to incorporate a new
syllabus or activity into their community.

of each program. The cost of these is included with the Term invoice.
Performance Metro Music School understands the importance of concert performance and actively
encourages performance as part of the learning experience. Student performances
are organised at the end of each semester where students can demonstrate their music skills.

Information
Teaching Organisation
Our teaching methods aim to achieve a competent level of
playing, and we therefore encourage a flexible program
which may include Modern, Suzuki, or other approaches
with a classical, contemporary or jazz repertoire.
The appointed teacher will be able to choose a program
best suited to the needs of each student(s).
We recognise that all children are different and
therefore include an appropriate syllabus and
repertoire.
Demonstrations
Metro Music School provides free demonstrations of teaching instruments to students and
parents at information days / evenings.
Information
Metro Music School keeps schools, students and parents
informed of progress, teachers, exams and concerts with
a newsletter each term.
We are committed to working with each individual
school’s curriculum and always abide by its rules and
regulations. We are also keen to discuss the progress of
our program with relevant school staff.
Exams
Exams and other extra music activities may be offered to
students as they achieve relevant standards. These are
not an expectation and are not compulsory.
Reports
Students receive written reports at the end of each
semester. These reports focus on the development of
each studentrsquos musical skills.
Teacher Selection
Teachers are selected according to their
qualifications experience, student rapport, personality
and ability to teach effectively.
They have been carefully screened, undergone police
checks and are covered by public liability.
Teacher Training
All teachers undergo training before commencement
of teaching classes at contracted schools
Further training continues at the end of each term to
maximize teaching efficiency and skills.
Teacher Appraisal
Metro Music School includes regular appraisals of
all teachers working at schools.
We carefully observe all teachers and listen to feedback
from teachers/parents and students
